As minhas imagens ilustram a matéria "A Ameaça Fantasma" e ajudam a contar como o aquecimento global pode trazer de volta bactérias e vírus extintos, como um antigo coronavírus, que estavam presa a uma então permanente camada de gelo chamada de permafrost.

These illustrations are part of the July 2020 issue of Revista Superinteressante. My images illustrate the article "The Phantom Menace" and help to tell how global warming can bring back extinct bacteria and viruses, such as an old coronavirus, that were trapped to a then permanent layer of ice called permafrost.
